Boutique Sales Associate Job Description
Part-Time 15-20hrs/week
Availability MUST include Monday-Saturday for closing shift
Flexibility to cover shifts through the day/week
Title: Boutique Sales Associate
Reports to: Boutique Manager
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma and 3 years relevant work experience.
Essential Job Functions:
To provide customer service to boutique clientele, and act as primary cashier. Accountability for tasks designated by supervisory personnel.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Computer competency in Microsoft Office. Ability to communicate in a clear and compassionate manner with customers. Flexibility and willingness to be a team player. Commitment to the promotion of natural and holistic products and services.
Scope of Duties:
- Greet each person who comes in to the store and thank them for coming in as they leave.
- Assist customers with inquiries.
- Keep store and work area organized and clean.
- Perform tasks in a timely manner.
- Understand how to use register to ring up sales and perform returns properly.
- Rent out pumps and scales, fill out forms completely and file them correctly.
- Clean pumps and scales no later than a day after they are returned.
- Process rental charges when due.
- Check-in and put away stock.
- Process online orders/sales/shipments.
- Assist with inventory.
- Be willing to Train in Bra and Flange fitting to assist clients with these services.
- Restocking.
- Answer phone in a professional and timely manner.
- Return calls/emails no later than the next day.
- Participates in activities designed to enhance public awareness of Women’s Birth & Wellness Center services.
- Participates as part of a professional team by performing any other duties as assigned or needed.
Accountabilities:
Assist Boutique Manager, Development & Communications Manager, and customers with boutique duties during store hours, Monday through Saturday.
